With all respect to El.Guero for her thread on (stereotypes women hate). I think it's time men came out of the closet about the misandrious stereotypes pointed at us.

    1. men are boastful
    2. men hate strong women (my personal favorite)
    3. men are aggressive

this is just a sample of some, feel free to point out some of your, most hated stereotypes.

Personally, I would say that 1 and 3 are by and large true. The only one that bothers me is #2.

There aren't many stereotypes of men that bother me as I think most of them are generally true.

    :D My personal favorite:

"men are insensitive pigs who have no feelings"

    :D [IMG] My second choice:

"men think only about sex, cars, and food"
(not necessarily in that order...!) [IMG]

Joseph I'll say that #1 might be true, but number 3 is certainly false, no has yet to prove that.

Hey, I surrendered decorating to my wife regarding the entire house. I will not take my stuff down from off my own chest of drawers.

If I had a penny for every time I was exposed to misandry, I would fast become the world's richest human being ever to exist!

Wife hates all the football we watch at this time of year. Gets in the way of family time.

We have family time in July with long, light evenings on the deck. No football, etc. THAT is a great time for a reunion.

New Years Eve/Day is NOT THE TIME to complain about men watching football.

    Hey Guys,

Let me interject if you don't mind.

We women took that other thread quite seriously. You all seem to be a little on the light hearted side here. And that's ok.

    But be honest with us.

I believe that men have tender egos. Not conceited personalities, but tender egos. I believe that we as women can hurt your feelings easily, but you won't show it until you are ready to blow off some heavy steam.

What are the misconceptions that we as girlfriends, wives, mothers, and sisters have about you that can and do bruise your feelings?

You can get it off of your chest now and help us out at the same time, too.

Or just completely ignore my butting in.

    Peace-

    YSIC

If it's only for men it needs to be in the MPF, if it's in a public forum it for the pubilc. Meaning anyone can post.
The OP of the women's thread is not a woman I think, he said he is a pastor. Plus men have posted there too.

[IMG] Not this man. I hate mess. And most of the men I know who make a practice of those other things are rednecks, not Christians.

Can't speak for other men but, maybe. I used to have a giant one, but not anymore. God has seen to that.
