The Poles left to themselves in Warsaw(1940) armed themselves with weapons they stole from the German army-----and with the aid of a few captured Panzers(tanks) held the mighty dreadnaught at bay for several months-----until Hitler ordered the Luftwaffe to "level" what remained of the Polish resistance-----my point is---they were NOT armed until they armed themselves---years before, the Polish government probably decided the general public did not NEED to be armed---that is, until the puny Polish government was overrun by German "Lightning!"(Blitzrieg)

I intend on keeping myself armed!! No matter how unsafe my know-nothing government says being armed is!!
