Actually SIR the great commission is to go out and PREACH the gospel to every creature and all of creation. If you BOTHERED SIR to read the end of Matt and Mark you would know this. You SIR place a large emphasis on the evangelist and such a little emphasis on the sovereignty of God in salvation. God calls the converts and grants the gift of faith to the elect. God asks for obedience and He will draw out his true converts. The evangelist is not perfect nor does have to be because God is whom does the saving! You SIR have a real problem with others whom disagree with you and seem to have attracted allot of negative attention from others on this board. You SIR have made many enemies here, but not because you preach the gospel, but because you SIR have sought to cause division in the body of Christ.

Guys I am done with WinMan. He's here to cause division and strife in the body and cant be reasoned with.

Nobody is against you street preaching as long as you know what you are talking about. We are never to teach error, the scriptures warn repeatedly about this.

So, are you suddenly going to go out and teach what you previously said you did not believe?

So which are you going to preach now? Are you going to preach that God chose the elect unconditionally, he has a special love just for the elect, and that he left the rest to be damned for their sins?

Or are you going to teach that God chose the elect on the basis of foreseen faith, that he loves all men equally, that God passed over no one, but gives everyone an equal chance to be saved?

Which one of these are you going to preach now?

Yes, no evangelist is perfect, but that does not give you the right to just say whatever you want and not be held accountable for what you teach.

What do you think Tony....perhaps its time this guy reads the Marrow of Modern Divinity, with Furgusons commentaries.

I attempted reading it on line but found it difficult. The book is more expensive but what a teaching tool.

Samuel Rutherford, the guy who was in charge of the Presbyterian church in Scotland...and a High Calvinist made the statement that the reprobate has exactly the same warrent to believe in Jesus Christ as do the elect.

And as we all know, Christ is able to save all who come to Him in belief. He will even help those who sincerely want to believe but are struggling. Lord, help my non belief.
