Studies in the Life of Christ

I ran across an old book entitled Studies in the Life of Christ by a R.C. Foster copyrighed in 1938. It is a thick book that appears to have 4 smaller books inside of it. I have been trying to find some information on it.

Does anyone here know anything about it or the author? Is it a worthwhile addition to my library or should it go in the junk heap?

Found this on a book site " Foster, R.C., Studies in the Life of Christ (Early Period, vol. 1) (Standard Pub., 1938) Hardcover. 302pp. Ex-library, but unmarked text. Out of print. $8.00"

Standard, if memory serves me was once the favorite of the Christian church/church of Christ movement if not owned by one of them.

RUPERT CLINTON FOSTER 1888-1970, Professor of New Testament, Cincinnati Bible Seminary.

The title is still available in software in Quickverse.
