Make a list. I'll think on it and report back.
75% of all "chick flicks"
Hey! :BangHead: .............................I agree! Movies that paint men as brainless bullies and women as weak and helpless victims make me ill. But the remaining 25% that are good are REALLY good!
My list for most pathetic movies are pretty much anything with Tom Cruise or Kevin Costner or Adam Sandler.
But first place goes to any movie with "Jame Bond" as the lead character! BLECH!! Indestructable and untouchable men and gratuitous women in gratuitous bikinis. I don't get it.
Dumb and Dumber
Attack of the killer tomatos
I was just going to post that. It IS fun, though!
I'm going to get crucified for this, but
ALL of the Star Wars movies! Blech!
(I will now go run for cover)
You must not have been a nerd .
Us nerds understand the film
I loved Napolean Dynamite. I guess you have to live in the northwest to get it perhaps ?
Syriana has to be the stupidest movie I've seen in the last 10 years.
I don't go to the pictures.........Is the price still 5d?
The ones I do manage to see on the telly, I usually drop off about 3 minutes into picture and wake up about in line with the credits....lovely kip though.
That stupid chiuauauauauauaua. movie.
Shame on you! I guess the force is not with you! Either that, or you've turned to the dark side.
I want to second the Napoleon Dynamite nomination.
How dare Star Wars even be associated with a thread like this!
Because it's such an idiot concept.
From years and years ago, a movie that won the Academy Awards, "Terms of Endearment."
Add to that...Steel Magnolias.
I tried to watch one last night called "Apocalipto". Yuk.
Does stupidest include the worst?
If so, I nominate "Manos: The Hands of Fate". Not the MST3K version of it, but the original.
Heavens, no! Not at least around here. Matinees are now $7 or $7.50, sometimes $8 (and some theaters only have one "cheap" show a day), and evening prices are between $9-11.
During the war I went to the pictures to watch Lassie Come Home...Lassie had gone to war and got shot by the Germans. I left the pictures crying and went home. I never did see the end of that picture show. I was later told that she/he made it back.......Lassie was really a he. Imagine a he filling in for a she!
