    My son is in the Army (basic training) and we have a friend who will be deploying to Iraq in August. Here is a another link with ways to help support some of our troops over there.

    My small community headed up a drive for toys for the Canadian troops in Afghanistan. The troops are working with the children there and they wanted toys for the children, books and all.

    Several commercial airlines offered to lift the toys if we got them to them. Four depots were set up in Ontario, and there were so many donations an Air Force cargo plane had to be used. This too is serving, and it isn't all shooting and killing. God bless the troops!

    My wife has a cousin in Iraq right now. He was in the Afghan capital until last year. We definitely support our troops.
