My wife is very good at crafts, and recently has spent alot of time making things for the chruch. Take a look at two of her recent projects.

One is a Nativity that she and her parents made and is displayed outside our church. They put in alot of time and it shows in the finished product.

The other is a set of scrolls that were hung in the church for our missions conference. The scrolls are made of cloth that was tea dyed and painted. The lettering was cut out of black cloth, and attached to the scroll cloth. You can't really read the verse in the pic, but it is EZE 3:17-21.

Follow this link to see the pictures.

The Nativity set looks like it took a lot of time. I really like the look of the scrolls hanging in the church.

Well Jeanne was very talented, and looks as tho she worked very hard.

Did she saw the figures out and paint them too?

    Very nice Job!

Actually Jeanne's Dad did the sawing. We don'tlet Jeanne use sharp insturments like saws and knives. She is liable to cut off something like a hand or foot.

Thank you all for the lovely comments on the nativity and the scrolls.
The arch on the nativity sceen is 8ft. tall and lights up at night. Here's how it came about..
2 yrs ago I said to my Pastor's wife (Miss Priscilla) that it would be great if we could enter into are local festival of lights display with anything. It was to late for that year to enter so I started to pray on it for the year. The next year a few others asked if we could do a display there. One of the other members found out the information on the festival: they wanted $300 for a sign ,they had to approve the display, no bible verse, etc. So another road block. For another year I prayed for a display. I asked God to help me make a display that would show the world what the meaning of Christmas really was. Jesus being a carpenter by profession( before He entered the ministry ) so I think He has a soft spot for the profession! I asked him to make it come together and I truely belive He did. I must say all I originally had in mind was a small display not one that had figures bigger than me! I never dreamed for all the accessories either but the Lord just put them in my path.

Bill tells you straight that I'm not allowed to work/play with anything sharp. When I married Bill they all called me " a accident waiting to happen" I up graded to " being a accident in progress."

I know very little on the computer so I could NEVER post any pictures or any thing as advanced as that. That's Bill department.
Currently me and my posse are making a circus train for vacation bible school. And if any one has any ideas on a circus theme let me know!
    Thanks again for compliments.
