Taking Halloween Too Far? (Pics)

    Every year a neighbor on the next street and a couple blocks away does up their front yard in Halloween decorations. Every year it gets more and more extravagant. I'm beginning to wonder about the sanity of these people. Well, you be the judge. (Be sure to click on image to get to a full screen. Click again to revert to smaller size.)     Is there something wrong with these people? I showed these photos to my elderly mother and she wondered if they were witches living there.

    They do nothing for Christmas. (Mom asked the same question.)

    Wow. It looks like they are totally looking forward to the Halloween. It may be a little odd, but it's actually pretty nice. I love Halloween as well. :)

    To me any type of Halloween celebration is taking things too far.

    While I understand that children, the smaller ones at least will want to dress up and go trick or treating as most if their friends will be doing it and they dint want to feel left out.

    It's become a tradition, and even if we don't like it, it will happen so we'll have to make the most if it.

    A lot of people like to decorate for Halloween. I have seen far worse then that and some really disturbing ones. Some of them make you wonder what goes on in their heads. There are people out there who really love Halloween though. I don't like the ones with all the dead bodies lying around or strung from trees
    They really bother me.

    I decorate my front porch for Halloween. Usually it's a sign and says "No Candy."

    Wow! Those people clearly love haloween! I think it looks nice, it is fun for small children to look at.
    I enjoy the displays people do for Christmas as well. My kids and I will usually take a walk around the town and look at all the decorations.
    The only thing I usually wonder is, how are they paying for all the electricity!

    We are having our fall parade of homes here. I have been surprised at how many houses decorate for Halloween.

    There are people like that around here. Halloween lights, tons of decorations, the whole nine yards. It's insane. Put out pumpkins and give out candy, the decorating was meant to be for Christmas!

    I saw a really disturbing porch earlier today. MAde me fear for my life! (The silly system turns the "m a d" of the word "MAde" into the mad icon! Anybody know a way to turn it off?) Made
