    Quite telling.

Of course, keep in mind: the second rally--most of those folks were prohibited by union rules from picking up garbage. The Trash Collector's Local 2185 asked everyone to throw all garbage on the ground. Part of the collective bargaining agreement.

Not to mention--when the rally was over, everyone was officially off the clock. They would have had to clock back in, bend down, pick up the trash, throw it away, and clock out. Too much work.

Finally, keep in mind that most of the garbage left behind at the second rally was inherited from the Bush administration. :D

    Good points. A different perspective.

Surely it couldn't be because liberals don't care about the environment or just sorta expect someone else to clean up their messes.

They want to tax the "rich people" to clean up after them.

Now I know who tosses their McDonald's bag onto my yard when they drive by. Why didn't I put two plus two together? Liberals are litter bugs. It fits right in with the union mentality of "it's not my job," to clean up after myself.

Seriously, what kind of a person tosses throws thrash out of their window on to the side of the road or onto someone's lawn? I don't understand that type of mentality.
