Yesterday a Syracuse taxi driver was shot while on the job. (he is from a different taxi company)
I do not know him personally, but my dispatcher, "Junior" know him very well.

On Monday, when I go back to work, I trust this will be an opportunity to talk to Junior, and I will ask him if he would like me to go visit his friend.

    the story is here:

unfournately, the driver died over the weekend. Seems he picked up 3 men from the suburbs and brought them inot the city - and did not want to pay.

Will try to talk to Junior Wed am. I only see him for a few minutes each morning

We had a cab driver killed in Kingston. He lived just a few miles from me. Sad that one can't do his job without fear from the public he transports.

    Cheers,

    Jim
