People possess a certain level of anger about this man being in office that seems to drive them to do things that wouldn't normally do.

She told them that Obama isn’t a Christian and that, if their parents voted for him, then their parents are not Christians either.

We really don't know if she made the comments. But you are right in that too often people use Jesus as a pawn for partisan politics....and too often those people are churches.

She told the truth that the President isn't a christian, we've heard it from his own mouth. The President stated in a speech, "My Momma was an atheist all of here life, but I believe she is in heaven today because she was a good person."

His soteriology is off and since He doesn't know how someone gets to heaven how can he be saved?

She made the mistake of saying people who voted for him weren't christian. Many christians don't vote on christian issue they vote for the party and whoever the party runs. they don't care about the issues just the party. Others over look the candidates violation of Biblical issues and vote for what they believe he will do for the nation.

What we miss is God places people in authority based on the state of the nation. Our nation is in a state of apotasy and god is dealling with us through our leaders at this time.

What he has said repeatedly is that he is a Christian.

He has said he is a Christian repeatedly so there's no need to keep saying that he has said he is NOT a Christian.

A correct soteriology after one is saved is not a requirement FOR salvation.

Apostasy is a Body of Christ issue. It's not a NATION issue, per se. But I believe you are correct about God placing people in authority. But I believe that Biblical history shows Him doing so based upon what HIS PEOPLE are/are not doing.

So you believe that because the President does good he is saved as that is what he believes it takes to get to heaven?

Tell nation Israel that has be dispersed twice that " It's not a NATION issue."

You are correct. We don't know what the teacher said. Young students should not be confronted with partisan politics, particularly with religion thrown in.

I would have no problem with HS Seniors discussing such if there were open discussion and the teacher did not exact revenge.

It is a fact, however, that many in the teaching profession, particularly college teachers, are shills for the far left! The hippies of the '60's now run many colleges!

He could say he's a goat but it doesn't make him a goat. His beliefs do not align with orthodox Christianity. He may be a christian but he is not a Christian nor a Christ follower.

If you believe the wrong things and have put your faith in the wrong things, then what salvation is there?

Now you know that you didn't read anywhere that I said that. I agree with the teacher and her husband. I believe that he is either a Muslim or that he certainly "esteems" the things of Islam much more than he does the way of Christ. At least that's what I saw during his first election cycle and his first term.

I wouldn't have voted for him if he was the last candidate on earth, in part, because I believed him to be a Muslim and to not show anything of love for that which Christ loves.

Now I can't really see what the problem with him being a Muslim would be to evangelicals who voted for and supported a Mormon for President.

Israel was representative of GOD's People pre-Christ. The United States IS NOT representative of God's people as God's people are scattered all over the world now.

So again, apostasy has nothing to do with a nation, but rather with GOD's PEOPLE. Everybody in the United States isn't part of God's family.

The racist and racially prejudiced beliefs of a lot of people on this board don't line up with orthodox Christianity either.

But like I said, I personally believe he's a Muslim.

But also, my statement was to the fact that contrary to what Poster #9 said, President Obama has not said that he isn't a Christian, so it's unfair and just a lie to say that he has said that.

How do we know what he has put his faith in? revmwc spoke to soteriology. And I say again, one does not have to have a proper understanding of of soteriology post salvation to be saved.

A LOT of folks develop a wrong soteriology after salvation because they get hooked up with bad teaching. And after listening to Jeremiah Wright for 20+ years, I can really see someone's soteriology getting screwed up.

There is often times too much opining and lofty thinking taking place( i.e Cal/Arm discussions), and not enough listening to the Holy Spirit. And so people who are saved, get their soteriologies really screwed up.

They forget about what they were taught when they came to faith and start replacing it with some screwed up version of the truth.

If people had to know anything other than Jesus Christ crucified and resurrected as the propitiation for their sin, I fear NO ONE would ever come to faith.

I agree - he has stated he's a Christian and if I were a school teacher, I'd say that he is a self-proclaimed Christian.

It's not hard to tell Obama is not a true born again Christian. Scripture says test the spirits.....he fails.

But a big portion are and we say "In God we Trust," the whole world is in the last phases of the final Apotasy and soon Christ will return for His Bride the church.
Now I do not agree with the folks who say God will have to apologize to Sodom and Gommorrah if He doesn't destroy America. Sodom and Gommorrah had only 4 people that were saved America has a whole lot more.

Oh gosh no. But I run into kids in church all the time, who though they don't have a right soteriology because they can't even spell the word, are nonetheless saved.

There's a distinct difference between God saving someone and that person being able to TEACH someone else what needs to take place for them to be saved. And that often times gets skewed based upon who has taught and discipled them.

Not necessarily. That just means his understanding NOW is wrong. The faith whereby he could have been saved, could have been correct.

Just like with George Bush saying Christians and Muslims serve the same God. That doesn't mean he's not saved. It just meant he needed to be quiet and stop trying to comment and teach on things he obviously didn't correctly understand.

I don't know. He may have placed his faith in Christ when he says he came to faith.

From my perspective, I haven't seen anything that says he trusts and follows Christ, but that's just me. I see a lot of Christian "ways" about his talk and his approach to people. But I see that in atheists too.

There's just too much about some of the other behavior that I have seen from day one that told me that he takes every opportunity to uplift Islam while trying to reduce Christianity.
