Teaching textbooks

    Has anyone tried teaching textbooks?

    I will be purchasing PreAlgebra for my son, who will be in the seventh grade next year. I know this series is expensive, but I really like the approach on the sample.

    I've looked at those before, Beth, but didn't try them in favor of the Switched on School House cirriculum that we are using this year. Next year though, I might just consider it.

    The SOS has been great this year though.
