My little daughter is growing up (she's 12 y.o.).
I was struck by this fact when I read a school essay she wrote where she expressed a well thought-out opinion.
I also realized I needed to update my devotional material to better fit her knowledge.

I'm not looking for rehashed Bible stories, I'm looking for meat in spoon-sized bites.

    What do you recommend? :D

    Brother Deacon,

All of my life I have been using Scripture Union Notes for my private devotions. They also have private devotionals for children and teens. You might have a look. The only site I have is a Brit site, but I am sure there is a USA site listed on this site.

All the best, and bless you for caring for your child.

    Cheers,

    Greetings!
Though i'm not yet married and no children yet, I can recommend a teen devotion for your daughter... I care for children like your one. So make a try the Spurgeon' Daily Medetation ... It is readable and understandable by teens... Hope you would recommend this also to your childrens in this church...
