    Tell me who wrote this, and no google please.

    "Take this rule: Whatever weakens your reason, impairs the tenderness of your conscience, obscures your sense of God, or takes off the relish of spiritual things; in short, whatever increases the strength and authority of your body over your mind, that thing is sin in you, however innocent it may be in itself."


    I read it in a book yesterday.

    yeah that.

    I read some of the thread, and I can see the arguments. But I still like Mrs Welsey and how she affected her two sons toward godliness. Their impact is awesome, even if we differ theologically.
