    19 - when I moved on campus.

    Moved back in at 22 to save money when I started working. Moved out permamently at 25 - moved to Texas

    17, three days after H.S. graduation I left for USN boot camp.


    Never looked back.

    17. Went to college.

    Was in a bad car crash and couldn't live by myself for a while, so I moved in with my mom for about six months when I was 22, just before I got married.

    I was 19 but only because it took me until then to finish high school. :tonofbricks: That November I joined the Air Force.

    I was 21. I had a good friend who was moving to Europe with her husband who was in the Army, and they'd been living in a little apartment at the back of a very sweet, very generous Baptist lady's house, and my friend called me to ask if I'd be interested in the apartment. It was three rooms, fully furnished, and had a tiny kitchenette in a corner of the living room. And it was less than a mile from work, and in the same neighbourhood where I'd grown up. And...it was $150 a month. :eek: Those were the good old days! :laugh:

    about 20 I think...I went West to work as a governess. I would have earned more on the dole but hey there was NOTHING to spend money on .
