You continue because of your intense disgust for CTB. Anyone reading these postings can see it.

Well, when you can justify your disgust with Jesus Christ's command that we love one another you will have reason continue to show this attitude toward those God loves!

Watch out. Some here really get upset when you bring Christ and his teachings into these discussions.

I understand. What I don't understand is why there is such an absolute attitude that since you are considered a liberal here, there is nothing you can say that those like Curtis don't attack regardless. I don't expect the extreme right wing here to agree fundamentally with many of your views. I probably agree more often with Curtis' positions than yours myself, but I disagree with the manner in which his is expressed.

Many years ago I attended a IFB church that was wonderful. Then, over a period of eight or ten years the pastor got involved with the anti-government movement. He spent most of his time going to Corpus Christi in support of Lester Roloff, or going to Indiana in support of Greg Dixon. I watched a good church slowly die as this cancer grew and grew. I found out that when a Christian starts allowing his political views to crowd out the love Christ demands, politics has become too important. That is one reason I don't post here much anymore.

When I see you say that to Magnetic Poles, Crabtownboy, and others, you will have a point. Until then, it's just you blowing smoke.

In other words, I will continue to be a jerk until all others stop. Good rationalization, Curtis.

Actually, I was thinking more on the lines of, it's OK if they do it but not you. When I see you telling them they are being jerks, you will have attained consistency.

This isn't about consistency, it's about being Christ-like and defering to another.

Hmm, yer awful one-sided. Seems like people can lie & twist words, but only when they're called on it do they start screaming about Christ.

And it is about consistency. You have none. It is not un-Christ-like to say that.

If It Walks Like A Duck...

and it Quacks like a duck... it MUST be a duck! The tenets are very similar to what Obama is attemting to CRAM down our throats, crab-town-boy!

You can say it ain't so, but, the majority of us think it just may be the coming of a new and darker age for America. :sleeping_2:

Just continue to attack everyone that you don't like. We have all come to expect it from you.

The odd thing is that people like you are usually so different in person it is difficult to recognize them once the keyboard is removed. I doubt you would not be this way to a visitor at your church. You would probably be gracious and nice and pleasant. I guess this is just the nature of the Internet.

Curtis, you really have taken your nasty pills. I have not talked to you for quite a while, yet you feel free to call me and others "jerks". Sir, you need to stop and reassess your statements before posting.

Yep. Curtis' consistently rude and nasty demeanor is sad to see. I do hope it is because we are not sitting together enjoying a political discussion in person that he feels free to continually lash out at everyone. If he is this way in person, he must really be lonely. Even so, what comes out when one is posting without repercussions in real life says a lot about what is in one's heart.

He like several here pick out who they feel are the liberals and then twist everything to show them in the worst possible light. I guess life is easy when every problem can be laid at one segment's feet.

Hi kettle. I'm the pot. You're black.

You guys are all pretty funny. Second, since you obviously cannot read, I'll be nice enough to point out that Mr. Snow was the first to use the word "jerks".

You don't have to aknowledge this, however. And you guys can keep this one-sided admonishment going all you want to.

After going thru the thread, I find no post of mine so outrageous that it should become the topic of discussion.

You are correct, and I should not have used it. This Kettle is apologizing to the Pot! I'm sorry Bro. Curtis. Actually, I didn't even realize it. I started to demand you show me where I did this, and then I reviewed my postings. Again, I apologize.

And yet until your attack on me, I had not posted in this thread at all.
