I'd just like to share this with my brothers and sisters in Christ here. My wife, of 20 years and I have been seperated for about 8 months of this past year. I had given up hope that we could ever reconcile and live together but about 3 months ago God started to work a miracle. Our relationship had been so strained for the past 10 years because of various reasons that time does not permit me to detail but God did a work in her as well as me. I moved back home 2 months ago not knowing if it would work but God has done a miracle. He didn't restore our marriage, it's like He's made it brand new. All I can say is I'm so happy and in love with my wife and I praise the God of heaven for his mercy and help in this awfull situation we've had to endure. I desire everyones prayers and wish all here a very happy thanksgiving day. If there is anyone I've offended in a percieved spirit of rashness in any of my posts here I wish to apologize and wish you well. I am a THANKFUL man this thanksgiving day.
Glory to God and His Son Jesus Christ

Brother James, that is a wonderful testimony. God did the same for my marriage, and I believe He can do so for any couple who will submit themselves to the will of God. Praise God for your marriage!

Brother James, that is wonderful! Praise God for the softening of both of your hears and restoring of your marriage! What a wonderful example of following God's commands!

Wishing you and your family a Happy Thanksgiving.

Malachi 2:13 And this is the second thing you do: You cover the altar of the Lord with tears, With weeping and crying; So He does not regard the offering anymore, Nor receive it with goodwill from your hands. 14 Yet you say, "For what reason?" Because the Lord has been witness Between you and the wife of your youth, With whom you have dealt treacherously; Yet she is your companion And your wife by covenant. 15 But did He not make them one, Having a remnant of the Spirit? And why one? He seeks godly offspring. Therefore take heed to your spirit, And let none deal treacherously with the wife of his youth. 16 "For the Lord God of Israel says That He hates divorce, For it covers one's garment with violence," Says the Lord of hosts. "Therefore take heed to your spirit, That you do not deal treacherously." 17 You have wearied the Lord with your words; Yet you say, "In what way have we wearied Him?" In that you say, "Everyone who does evil Is good in the sight of the Lord, And He delights in them," Or, "Where is the God of justice?"

Brother James, most of us take our spouses for granted on a daily basis. Praise the Lord for God bringing you back together. You have much to be thankful for at this Thanksgiving season. [IMG]

We should all thank God for spouses, families, and life itself at this season. My children and their families will all be with me tomorrow at our oldest son's house in Michigan. ;)

"I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth."

Have a blessed Thanksgiving every one!!!!

Sometimes we have no idea what is happening in "real life", behind the posts on the BB.

Your post reminded me to pray (and rejoice) with each one, whether they come across in humbleness as your post did this day or rashness.
