    This may not be the place to post this, but I want to once again thank all of you for your prayers, cards and notes for the six way CABG operation in January. The grace of the Lord was on me, as I could have easily lost my life. Since then, there have been depressing days, and days of doubt. I am feeling better than I have in years, and am going to get a part time job soon. The only thing still bothering me is the chest incision and the chest bone. That will take a while.

    The Lord has left me here for something, and I plan on doing what He says. A special thanks to Tom Butler and East Baptist Church for all the support to my family. All I can say is that my wife is as close to a saint as a human can get, putting up with me for 33 years and especially these last three months.

    This board has been a tremendous boost to my recovery. God bless each and everyone of you.

    I guess I wasn't paying close enough attention, because I didn't know this was going on. I'm glad to hear you are doing well though. I'll pray for your continued recovery.

    By the way, what have you done with the real saturneptune? Who are you, really? Your impersonation of him is pretty good, but it doesn't fool me. You are much too mellow to be the real one.

    For Every Trial, There is an Answer...

    ... and you got your answer brother. You are still with us, and while this may sound selfish, I'm sure many of us happy God let you remain.

    I, too, did not know about your surgery, but, am exstatic to hear how God has delivered you. You are now one prayer partner richer, and I'll be asking God to relieve that pain, and return you to that part time job.

    Take care, and keep us posted as to what you may need in the way of prayer.

    Thank you Father, for being with our brother, and the doctors, and all those who had a hand in his surgery and subsequent rehabilitation. Truly, we rejoice with him, knowing that he came so close to being with You, but, allowed to stay here for a while longer in order to be a witness for Your work in his life, and giving faith to others that face life threatening surgery, like his! Amen!:godisgood:

    SN, I know first hand that there is life after bypass surgery. May God continue to oversee your recovery. I will be praying for you.
