I'm attending SBTS. Right now I'm in a hermeneutics class. However, I've also taken some church history and Systematic Theology.

I stumbled across the BB in Oct '00 and have been a faithful reader almost ever since. It has been great because while most people in my classes have not heard discussions on Pre/Post/A-millenial or Preterist, Futurist, Modified futurist discussions in Revelation, I have. That is just one example. There has been quite a lot that I have learned on here that have helped me with my knowledge before I ever go to class.

What are you thankful about the BB for?

I am blessed by several of my new friends I have come to know on the board. Lord willing I will be able to meet some of these great folks in the near furture.

    In Christian Love,

I am thankful about the Baptist Board (BB) cause it
allows me to do part of my God-called Ministry.
My ministry is to those whom God has called to
    other ministries.

May God bless you, your family, and your ministry.
May this be done so that we might give all the more
honor and glory unto our Blessed Lord
and Savior: Messiah Yeshua. (Yeshua is also
known as Iesus in the King James Version /KJV1611/.)

    Iron sharpening iron.

The BB has allowed me to spar with superior foes...and to make some good friends in the process. The BB has forced me to look long and hard at what I believe...and why I believe what I believe.

As a preacher without a pulpit, the BaptistBoard has given me an outlet, of sorts. While not the same as patoring a church, or preaching to a congregation, the interactions and confrontations have alowed me to stretch and grow in new ways.

I have grown deeper in my knowledge of God, and am eternally grateful to the many who have contributed to this.

    In Christ,
    Trotter

I have much to be thankful for. I can never be back full-time in ministry again because of health, so since June 2000 I have seen THIS as part of my ministry.

As a part-time pastor/missionary I, too, need the help and friendship and support of the BB. And way too many names to name here . . .

I am thankful for Dr. Bob and his graciousness toward those whose views are different than his. He has a dreadful bark but he bites only when absolutely necessary, making him a very fine watchdog and administrator. I am also thankful for Diane and for the webmaster, and for the moderators who are tolerant enough to allow us to express ourselves as Christians while keeping the other stuff off the board. I am also thankful for the many other members of this board and the love that they have for one another. [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]
