About 15-years ago, on the internet, i found out
the following. This is NOT found in the Holy Bible
but is true nevertheless. It is a modern opinion
of people and was NOT documented in the Bible,
it is true anyway for this is the opinion
    of the group described.

Rabbi's teach the Messiah (Chosen one of God,
in Greek: "Christ") will be known because when
    he comes he will:

    1. bring peace to Yisrael
    2. restore the daily sacrifice
    3. restore the Temple

From my study of the Holy Scritpure
I beleive this will happen right after the
    rapture/resurrection event but it will
be the antimessiah that does it, not the
    true Messiah which is Jesus.
During the first half of the Tribulation
Period the Antichrist (AC) will be building
the temple. The proto-Jewish Israeli elect saints
will beleive the AC is Messiah.
When, at the middle of the Tribulation Period,
the AC commits the Abomination of Desolation (AOD)
then many will believe that Jesus is the
Messiah, be saved, and be protected by
God in the wilderness for the last 3.5-years.

BTW, the Temple does not have to exist for
the daily sacrifice to be restored. The daily
sacrifice does have to be on Mount Zion
    (Temple mount).

Wow, that's an incredible stretch you had to make to come to a distantly related conclusion. There are only two things wrong with your conclusion. First, it says "measure the temple of God, the altar", not "measure the area where you shall build the temple of God and the altar". I don't know about you, but when I'm told to measure a window, I assume the window is already there. When I'm told to measure FOR a window, I assume it's not there.

You point out the second thing, yourself:

Okay, so first you make the incredible stretch that "measure the temple" means that the trampling of Jerusalem by the Gentiles is confined to the first 3 1/2 years of the 70th week of Daniel (sorry, but "measure the temple" == "first 3 1/2 years" is amusing at best). Now you equate it with the church age, which has been going on for 2000 years. Make up your mind.

This is your strongest argument by far, and I would concede the debate if I didn't have one to counter it. I have spoken with several people -- Messianic Jews, Italians, French, and one Lithuanian circus midget -- all who believe in the pre-wrath rapture, and they say they believe in the pre-wrath rapture. Imagine that.

    Most interesting and revealing
    Brother Npetreley.
    The AND in Revelation 11:2
"and they will tread" you read as a connector
of 2 similar tiems; but yuou read the AND
in 2 Thessalonians 2:1 as denoting two
names for same item (here an event item).

    Well, did just the opposite
(connector of 2 similar sets in 2 Thess 2:1
and two names for same thing in Revelation 11:2.

Of course, i understand i'm wrong and you are right

The first 3 1/2 years refer to the treaty of Peace where Israel will sign. Then the last 3 1/2 years the treaty will be broken -- start the war (WW3) due to the Armageddom. These first 3 1/2 years and last 3 1/2 years are 7 years tribulation.

    Askjo,

The problem is, Daniel 9:24-27 do not saying anything about Antichrist and the seven year of Tribulation period. The context of Dan. 9:24-27 focus on only oneperson - Messiah(Jesus Christ) who shall make a covenent with many through Calvary already fulfilled 70th week 2000 years ago.

Also, there is no scripture find anywhere in the Bible saying there shall be 7 year of Tribulation period.

Often, these telling us, there shall be only 42 months, 1260 days, 'time, times, and dividing a time'. It is only 3 1/2 years.

Nothing in the Bible saying that the Antichrist shall make a peace treaty with Israel to begin Tribulation period.

Dan. 9:27 speaks of Messiah make covenant with many through Calvary - Mark 14:24, already fulfilled at Calvary 2,000 years ago.

Alo, the book of Revelation was written with parallels and cycles toward second advent. Its was written not in chronological, but shown of parallels or cycles toward second advent.

I have been read through whole book of Revelation many times for over 15 years, still I never stop reading it, still learning on it till I die or Christ comes.

I urge you to read it very carefully with repeat and repeat till you will understand what it talking about.

I can see there is only '1260 days', '42 months', and 'time, times, and diving a time' in book of Revlation. Nothing in Revelation saying there shall be seven year of Tribulation period.

I urge you to read Revelation repeat and repeat very carefully. Take your time o unerstand it.

In my early Christian life, I thought Revelation was written into chronological. But, later, I found out that there are parallels and cycles toward second advent. That why, we have to be careful when reading it, it could be easy for us to be misunderstanding what these are talking about. There are different views among Christians on Revelation.

Rev. 1:3 tells, that anyone who reading it, will receive blessing from God. I urge you to read it repeat and repeat carefully, take your time, so, you will able to understand it better.

    Soldier of Christ
    2 Tim. 2:3 Amen!
