I'm presently reading a novel, A Journey in Grace by Richard P. Belcher. It is about a seminary student who is interviewed as a candidate for pastor in a rural area. The interview goes well until at the last a man asks: "Are you a calvinist?" The student was stunned as he'd never heard of this before. The book is about his search to learn what this means, encountering strange responses, including hostility. Wonderful story and the author sorts out all facets of the doctrine, including, 'hyper' and such.
I learned there are sequels including Journey into Providence, Journey in Eschatology, Journey in Purity and others.
A great way to get the accurate fine points of these doctrines.

Is the book available from a Christian Ministry?
