    Yes, they were. Our military personnel and the American taxpayers deposed Saddam Hussein and gave the Iraqi people a representative form of government. Now it is time for the Iraqi people to assume responsibility for these gifts and to bring our troops home or send them to Afghanistan to destroy al Qaeda and its Taliban allies who attacked this nation on September 11, 2001.
