    I got a copy.
So I started reading and article What are the
Common Characteristics of the New Religious
    Movements? on page 1874-1875.

Reason 2 is about the new revelation.
It mentions: Mormons (Latter Day Saints /LDS/), Christian Science,
Jehovah's Witnesses (KJVs) - but not Seventh Day
Advents (SDA) -- Just like Ed said ;) (on another venue).

Are the articles, the Bible, the notes, to your taste?

Today, I decided to buy a hardcover copy of The Apologetics Study Bible. I like the Twisted Scriptures section. I also like how the OT quotes are in bold print in the NT. It also has easy to read print. I also like the book introductions and their articles about apologists such as Thomas Aquinas. This study Bible is a keeper.

An essay I just wrote about the 10 occurances of
the Greek 'kai' in Revelation 20:4 would be
difficult to write with the HCSB text.

The pre-KJV1611 Bibles used forms of
'departure' in 2 Thessalonians 2:3 instead of
    the KJV1611 Edition's 'fall away'.
Modern Versions make it hard to see that
the verse is talking about the Pre-tribulation
Rapture/resurrection of the Church Age Saints.
The MVs use 'apostasy' an adaptition of the
    Greek term instead of 'departure'.
'Apostasy', the English Term, means a falling
away from the Faith NOT a falling away from
the earth which I believe the verse means.

So this comentary isn't a good Pre-tribulation Rapture
    comentaryu.

I noticed that too. I wish they would have used "removal of Christianity". That would have appeased all involved :)

I found a list of TWISTED SCRIPUTES NOTES on page xi.
But I checked a couple of the verses and didn't find
the TSN on the same page as the verse. HELP!

I can see the print with my trifocals!
    (instead of my reading glasses)

The only thing I don't like about the Apologetics Study Bible is that a few of the articles have a Calvinist slant. For example, the article on pages 1696 and 1697 entitled, "What about Those Who have Never Heard about Christ?" by William Lane Craig, states, "5. God has created a world that has an optimal balance between saved and lost, and those who never hear the gospel and are lost would not have believed in it even if they had heard it." How does Craig know that someone who died without hearing the gospel would have rejected it even if he or she had heard it??? Can he read minds?

It's a good study Bible, but don't swallow everything in it. Use discernment.

I sold two folk on this good study bible
    this Sunday Morning.
The Pastor thought the study notes might be nice.
The Sister thought she could see the HCSB text
with her bifocals (but would need a reading glasses
    for the Translator notes.
