    Here is the deal.
We need a list of volunteers.
I will pick one of them to start us off. That volunteer will go to the list and issue a dare challenge to the person of his/her choice.
The dare with have something to do with our Christian lives.
It may be asking that person to give their testimony in church the following Sunday.
It may be asking them to go to a specific place (store, neighbors home, park) and sharing about Christ. It may be picking a baptist missionary out and writing them a letter of encouragement.

When the task is completed, the person who finished their dare challenge will post the details of it. It will then be their turn to pick another volunteer from the list and issue the next dare challenge. And so on.

If you want to be a part of this write to me and tell me your posting name. I will compile a list and put all the volunteer names in one post. You may either pm me or write to [email protected]
You have two weeks to make your decision.

The challenges must always be Christ-honoring and reasonable. If it calls for money try to keep it to $10 limit, and no same person should be challenged to do anything that costs money more than once per month.
Refusing to honor a dare within two weeks will result in being disqualified from further participation. If one feels the dare is honestly something they would not do they must beg for mercy, which of course must be granted but then the issuer will be able to give them a double dare challenge. (fulfilling two instead of one) Refusing the new double dare disqualifies you from the game, unless of course it is an unreasonable request.

I think you are on your own, Gina, sorry. Maybe you can dare yourself to do something.

Actually, we probably need to read our Bibles and listen to God and listen to the Holy Spirit---I would imagine that He is giving us dares all the time. :D

I'm game. But will have to start the first of May. (I'll be away until then)
This is something similar to what I have challenged my youth group to.

Come on guys, this could be fun (I hope!!!)

(It won't have nothing to do with Prince Albert in a can, or running refrigerators, or calling up funeral homes asking to speak with Myra Manes, will it?) [IMG] [IMG]

Nevermind Tim, but thanks for being willing! [IMG]
I had wrongly assumed the response would be much different! I'm not gonna push it on unwilling people, although I was a bit suprised and most definitely discouraged by the reactions, or lack of them.
I had hoped it could be a fun way for us to encourage each other to go beyond our "safety zones" and do things we might not otherwise do. A beginning step to not being afraid of doing even bigger things when the need arises.
I know there's things I wish I would have said or done but was embarassed or whatever at the time and didn't. Building yourself up with small things like this with the encouragement of friends can do wonders.
