I've just begun reading a book entitled, "The Believer's Conditional Security" by Daniel D. Corner. This is a book that refutes eternal security. Is anyone familiar with this author or this book? Any thoughts?

I'm not familiar with the book or the author. Is there a particular reason you decided to read it? (The title seems to indicate the direction it will take.)

What do you think about it so far?

    Just curious...CJ

I stumbled across the book on Amazon.com and was intrigued by the reviews. As I've begun reading, I've become somewhat uneasy as the author seems to bash everyone from Charles Stanley to John MacArthur as well as Charles Spurgeon and John Calvin. It seems as though he teaches "salvation by works".

I enjoy learning about different views, but I'm disappointed that this book seems so negative.

Perhaps they need bashing! Oh yes, they are probably good Christian men, and teach many good things. However, OSAS is a lie.

According to Paul in Romans 4, assurance is but a part of saving faith.
