Remember this is the debate section, so I do expect to see some hardy debate (in other words DO NOT BE NICE! It is Christmas after all ;) ):

The first thing that comes to mind (since I've spent most of the weekend in an airport):

Is Starbucks Chocolate and Peppermint Coffee - a new Christmas tradition ;)

Dear sweet Bitsy. Have you ever, EVER seen anyone on this board speak with anything other than Christian love and respect for one another?

    Oh...wait.....never mind. :tear:

What??????? Are you kidding me???? Chocolate and Peppermint coffee? Christmas tradition is about tradition. Tradition is old news. Tradition can't possibly be new. Only after it becomes old can it be called a tradition!!! [IMG]

So we now have a tradition called Bitsy?!!! lol :tonofbricks:

Egg nog... MY favorite... although, I don't know if it is a food.. or drink...

If you down raw eggs, is that a drink or food?

    I say drink...

Mom always has a spaghetti dinner for Chrismas... that has become an unusual Christmas food for me...

We like Party mix, and Reese Peanut butter cup cookies... YUMMMM

    And sausage balls... Cheese balls...

OK, Watch out Christmas, here I come!!!!

I suppose if a tradition is no longer followed, it becomes an extradition?

But Jim vintage is set on a mantel to collect dust. Tradition is celebrated with food and drink.

I remember a couple years ago-----I had scheduled a revival at the church I was pastoring in Mississippi at the time-----a good evangelist buddy of mine was due to come preach

The Friday before the revival was to start on Sunday------My wife and I took the kids out to eat at a local Chinese joint up in Jackson-----I believe the name of the joint was Ding How's

I had the shrimp but noone else did--------and Sunday morning the revival started I got as sick as a Mule--------I mean, forevermore sick as a mule----with the virus------dude---I wouldn't wish the virus on Hillary Clinton----but I got it---------and I missed the whole week of revival at my own church that I pastored

All I could remember while experiencing the virus was---------"Ding How good friend of Blackbird---Ding How know how to cook for Blackbird----you get food poisoning----it no Ding How fault!!!"

Whimpin' out on church no Ding How fault

What on earth do any of these post have to do with the OP

Bitsy no eat at Ding How---Ding How no can cook shrimp:laugh:

Since Blackbird is insisting we stay with the topic, I must have dumplings with as many dinners as possible. I really don't care what goes with them, but I insist on dumplings.

    Cheers,

    Jim
