If we had a decent media instead of the liberal bias we see, I wonder how this might be different in opinions. The WH propaganda machine is good at swaying the masses.

The messenger is the pollsters. The attack is that they are biased (liberals). For the AP-GfK poll I copied and pasted the exact poll questions. How are those questions biased? I'd hardly call the Associated Press liberal. They're a news bureau.

So you deny that AP is liberals? The polls are handled in a way that tilts things the way pollster want. This has been known for a long time. Sorry for your ignorance.

"This has been known for a long time"-- Classic question begging.

OK, what is it in the phrasing of those questions that is biased?

When it comes to negotiating an end to the federal government shutdown, how much do you think Barack Obama is doing to cooperate with the Republicans in Congress?

ITL. don't be bothered by it. Rev would never admit that so called conservatives taking polls tend to find a way to always make the picture look rosy for them too.

Pure craziness. Both sides are always trying to act like they are superior to the other side when they both do the same thing.

The POTUS and Speaker of the House need to meet in person. Protocol would suggest that the President needs to call the Speaker and invite him to the White House.

As best as I know, the Speaker has NOT refused an invitation.

Was listening to Newt the other night. Maybe Obama should asked Bill Clinton to negotiate with the Speaker
