Alright now! This is where we are! Todays Special is Pot luck. Coffee's on, and Iced Tea is made.

ok....this is where we left off on the other thread.... I said........

Well I see we have some new people stepping into the shop! Hope all come back. There is not one specific topic in here. And no telling what the a topic might be. But no fighting is allowed. Its a refuge from the big board out there.

Oh...we got this blackbird in here, and well, we are trying to get him to wear a robe. We have not been sucessful yet....but he will wear bibs...and drink really sweet tea. You got to watch him...he will have ya all pulling weeds around the tomato plants. When he does...just tell him there's somethings in his corn.

Tell him you saw a bunch of Prairie Dogs cut'n through. hee-hee!

    Hi Sherrie!!

We had a great Easter. We had 2 family get togethers on Saturday. Then we went to church with my wife's family on Sunday and then had lunch together after church. It was dry enough that the boys also got to hunt Easter eggs.

Sherrie, you are almost to 5000 posts!! If we can keep you talking, you'll be there in no time.

Congratulations, Sherrie!! [IMG] Your post count changed to 5000 just after I posted my last reply. I guess the post counter was a little bit behind.

Maybe I should post this in the Prayer request forum [IMG] I'm taking all seven grandchildren to the movies this afternoon.

For some reason, Ed said that he just couldn't take off from work today. :(

I promised one g-son that I would take him. Well, word really gets around in this family. [IMG]

Everyone must be sleeping in today. I don't usually have as much time to post on the weekends so I have to read through the weekend posts to see what I missed.

It was a little cool this morning, but it is supposed to be nice this afternoon. There is no school today. I think it is a teacher in-service day.

I am on my way to the cafeteria before the lines get too long. Thursday I tried cinnamon sugar for the first time in who-knows-when: sprinkling some on my baked potato   , putting some on my soft-serve ice cream  , and even mixing some in my milk [IMG] [IMG]

    Hi Everybody,
Had a great day yesterday. Saw both my kids and grandkids. My granddaughter has a sore throat and couldn't go to school today, so she is staying with me. She brought her little Children't Bible, and wanted to read me a story last night before we went to sleep. We had been watching The Ten Commandments on tv, but it got late, and she couldn't watch it all. So she read me the rest of the story out of her little bible. Children are a great blessing.

No, it's better mixed with milk, or sprinkled on ice cream. I even had "cinnamon milk" at lunch today. My main entree was two tacos. And for dessert I mixed my baked apples with vanilla soft-serve [IMG]

If anyone is going to be in NW Arkansas this weekend, stop by Siloam Springs for the 29th annual Dogwood Festival (April 25-27). There's always plenty of arts & crafts, food, entertainment, and a Fun Zone for the kids. Unfortunately, I couldn't find a website for it.

Sounds great, Rod. Dogwoods are gorgeous, epecially when interspersed with redbuds (the state tree, for those interested.) But it's a pretty good drive ... although we plan to get up there some time this summer.

    Here's some info:

    DOGWOOD FESITVAL PDF

Arts for All, one of the two biggies here, is coming up May 9-11:

    ARTS FOR ALL

Armed Forces Day will be celebrated May 16 (ahead of schedule so the high school bands can perform.) I expect it to be a big deal this year, what with the late unpleasantness in Iraq.
