Now! I've noticed there is talk of crazy people being on this board!! I'm surprised they could get passed the IQ test that Blackbird gives every new comer---

Anyway, I passed the test to get on the board(albeit by the skin of my teeth!!)--now, here's what ole Blackbird is gonna do!!

I'm gonna fly over all of ya'lls houses and apartments and release from my crop duster and new formula for truth serum so that even the biggest liar on the board will have to tell the truth!!!

Here's the question after everybody gets a good wiff of the truth serum----Is Blackbird on that list of criminally insane folks who post or is he not???? Look straight into the lamp and tell the truth!! I need to know these things so that I can overlook ya'lls flaws, too!

Your Southern Baptist preachin', truth serum injectin' nutt,

    Blackbird

    DHK....hahahaha! [IMG]

Blackbird...be careful....some can look you straight in the eye when they do that.

Ok...so Sue is ready to go now. She's got her typing fingers ready, ebays on, got the homeweb page ready, yep, she's ready to go. Don't you hate that....having nothing to say, and just sitting, hands in postion, and ready to say something. Sue, did you ever hate that song Susie Q, because everybody sang it all the time to you? I hate that song, Sherry Baby. A million times a million someone always; and still does, sings that song to me. And they just laugh.

DHK has more than loonies in pocket, but also his toonies, both quite acceptable in Canada, we say.

Good morning to all. When ever the folks would sing, The White Cliffs of Dover, they always looked at me and laughed their fool heads off.......there's the one line........And Jimmy will go to bed......in his own little room again.....

Well cheerio for now, and God bless,

    Jim

Yes, Sherrie! I know JUST how you feel. I especially got tired of hearing, "Wake Up Little Susie". [IMG]

    Morning All!

We had another Tornado Warning last night. My town got by with just the heavy rain, strong winds, and hail. I'm not sure how the rest of Illinois faired. Looks like TN, GA, and OK are in for it today.

Since the Lunar Eclipse affects the tides, maybe after it is over tonight the weather will settle down some.

We have a break in the rain right now. I have to run to the grocery store or we will not be eating tonight!

Have a good day all. I will drop back in a little later. Thanks for the DDP Sherrie.

Ok if loonies are money, what are toonies?

Now Jon...I am only 23. But some songs just never die. ;)

Great Sherrie! How about you? I'm getting things ready for daughters birthday today. HAPPY BIRTHDAY RACHEL!! [IMG] She was so excited this morning! We live out in the country and when the bus stops in front of the house to drop the kids off, I have the whole front porch decorated in celebration for their birthday. My oldest doesn't think it's neat anymore. Won't be surprised if she asks me not to do it this year. She turns 14 next Saturday on the 23rd. I will not do it if she doesn't want me too. I would never want to embarrass her.

Will chat more later. Got to get to town and pick up Birthday cake and do some other shopping.

    Morning All.

I'm just popping in for some coffee and to nap in the corner. Can't sleep at home cause of the kids and the dogs.

Sorry Bill. Maybe you should go in your room and just lock the door and lay down and sleep. Goodness I like that idea. I might try a nap later my ownself.

Jon, see I am honest about my age. I am not like most women. [IMG]

I got to hurry and go, before blackbird sees this post.

My morning devotions were in the age old Psalm of David, Psalm 51. How often do we read the familiar and miss the message? In this Psalm, we learn something about David and his lamentable sin against Bathsheba and Uriah.

The interesting part of this Psalm is that he does not mention the parties victim of his sin. Rather he goes directly to God. Verse 4, "Against Thee, Thee only, have I sinned and done this evil in Thy sight. Herein lies the essence of sin. It is always against God. From the smallest to the largest. Yet, we want to run to mankind and make things right. Are we trying to appease mankind with our confessions? Are we trying to say how righteous we are? Is this a continuation of our sin against God?

David thought so. David had offended God by doing that which was wrong also in the eyes of humankind, and especially Bathsheba and Uriah, but he seeks God's forgiveness......"Have mercy upon me, O God, according to Thy lovingkindness..."

The benefit of sin, and yes, there are benefits, is that we begin to look inwardly, and that is where we find the root of all evil. It is within us. This is also where we find healing. The outward appearance of man is greatly influenced by his inward grace. Pardoned sinners are the best witness to their fellow man. We have humbled ourselves before God and our steps that follow should indicate this..."The sacrifices of God are abroken spirit: a broken and contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise..."

My soul lies humbled in the dust,
    And owns thy dreadful sentence just;
Look down, O Lord, with pitying eye
And save the soul condem'd to die.

    Then will I teach the world thy ways;
Sinners shall learn thy sovereign grace,
I'll lead them to my Saviour's blood,
And they shall praise a pardoning God.

    Cheers,

    Jim

    Good afternoon all! [IMG]

Looks like central Oklahoma is set up
    for some night major thunderstorms.
No moon eclipse visible from here
    in central Oklahoma.

Oh well, i'm on serious bed rest.
Betty is on antibiotics also, hoping not
to get worse. Would be nice if she could
get better soon and pamper her sicky
    husband ;)
