Good morning, Sherrie. Early you say! I always rise around 4:AM. This is more like coffee break time for me at 8:AM.

    Cheers,

    Jim

[IMG] Dan [IMG] No, you buy them at the grocery store or fish market. I love the taste of catfish but not the bones. I either buy catfish filets or nuggets (whichever is on sale), bread them, fry them, and eat them!

Jim: I would have made a good farmer's wife! I wake up between 4:30-5:00 every morning, have never needed an alarm clock. And I am wide awake by the time my feet hit the floor. :D

Welcome to the Coffee Shop, Brother Barnabas. I believe just about any non-alcoholic beverage is available here, including old engine oil, compliments of Blackbird.

Sit back, put your feet up and enjoy your rest.

    Cheers,

    Jim

    Hey blackbird and Sue,

Do you put tartar sauce on your fish fries and/or catfish nuggets?

I like deep fried haddock - but it has to have about an inch of tartar sauce on it to kill the taste of the fish!!!!!

Hey Sherrie - do I really have to clean up after myself - I hate doing that.

I just went back and checked the rules - didn't see any rule about cleaning up after myself!!!

But I did see the following "Rules are subject to change only by the proprietor." -- So are you officially changing/or adding a "clean up rule?' :D

    Dan Todd,

You gotta watch for Sister Sherrie--she been tryin' to clip my wings ever since I known her---you gotta be a lawyer to loophole her rules!!!!!!! Of course, Blackbird would never think of breakin' the shop owner's rules!!!! The only thing is---how are we to know the rules if they are subject to change?? We might break um and never know it--then we'd be in a mess!

    Tarter sauce? Yeh, man!

    Your buddy,
    Blackbird

Ok Dan...everybody works in the coffee shop. Perhaps I should post that. But if you work it out right...maybe Sue would do it for you.

My kids sometimes try to do everything half wrong/half right. That way I will get mad and do it myself. Not worth the hassle of keep showing them. They know that. And they do me that way!

    blackbird...you are something else! [IMG]

Take your choice Dan. You cook and I'll clean up or I'll cook and YOU clean up! Equal amount of work for joint ventures. [IMG]

Everyone is invited, but I have to learn to take the fish off the hook before we can have a fish fry... [IMG]

    To be continued........

This is a cat fish?? [IMG]

    Cheers,

By the way, Sue...A catfish can be totally deboned in one swift movement. Two slices either side of the thorny thing and one pull and out comes all the bones.

I do a great job making hamberg gravey - but let me warn you - if you don't like onions and garlic - you won't like my gravey!!! :D ;)

At home - I often do the dishes and/or the laundry - because Jan often does not feel well.

    God Bless,

    Hi Sherrie, et. al.
It's a good day for a good cup of hot coffee.
I thought I just might wake up to a nice summer day. I guess I was being too optimistic. It is presently 44 degrees out, rainy, with a high of only 50 expected. After having had some nice weather, I had to turn the furnace back on.

Sherrie, are you still cheering on those Mighty Ducks?
