    (**stepping in, looking around**)

Well, looks like a nice enough place. [IMG]

Is there a particular topic of conversation at the moment, or shall I start a new one? Not much on this page, it seems. Not sure I have time to wade through the other many many pages [IMG]

So... DO you drink coffee? I do occasionally - with lots of sugar and a little creamer. (I like a little coffee with my sugar [IMG] )

    Welcome,Thetaterkid,

No you don't have to be a coffee drinker. There are soft drinks, juice, hot cocoa available.

Seems most people are still busy celebrating Easter with their families.

We had a great church service this morning. Then lunch with one son and supper tonight with the rest of the family. With seven grandkids, it is difficult to get a word in edgewise. They all have something different to share with us. IT was great fun.

One showed us Senior Pictures, one told all the latest jokes he has learned, another told us what she had learned in math, etc. etc. etc.

Tomorrow, the seven and I will go see the movie, Holes. Grandpa has to go to work so he will miss all the fun.

Maybe see you in the morning.

Well good morning to all. Its the day after Easter and it is back to normal.

I loved where I went to church Sunday. I use to go there. Small country church. Mostly people over 65 go there. I was the spring chicken there. We sang the old songs, out of the Heavenly highway book. And I knew them all. Its the kind of church where they always say, "come up and sing in the choir."

I BarBQ'd. I had a houseful. I was suppose to go to my daughters to do everything, but somehow everyone piled up at my house. The weather was beautiful. No rain. Kids played basketball outside all day. Taylor played golf. She got a set of golf clubs from grandma.

Ok here is something country for you all.

We got an old lawn mower body that I have for actually putting stuff on it that is heavy and moving it. We took the motor off it. and put a piece of plywood on top of it. So if I...say bought 5 big bags of potting soil I could stack it on top of the mower and push it to the back of house. I can move barrels, and all kinds of things.

Well the kids love this invention of mine. One sits on it, keeping hand in, and then the other pushes. And they take off running fast and you can hear them laughing for the longest time. And I might add these kids are up to 15, and youngest was 12. But each took turns pushing Taylor. Oh and Taylor loves pushing them. Now isn't that kind of country. :D

Well I see we have some new people stepping into the shop! Hope all come back. There is not one specific topic in here. And no telling what the a topic might be. But no fighting is alowed. Its a refuge from the big board out there.

Oh..we got this blackbird in here, and well, we are trying to get him to wear a robe. We have not been sucessful yet....but he will wear bibs...and drink really sweet tea. You got to watch him...he will have ya all pulling weeds around the tomato plants. When he does...just tell him there's somethings in his corn.

Tell him you saw a bunch of Prairie Dogs cutt'n through. hee-hee!

We probably should let this thread die out and put a new coffe shop up. I don't think anyone wants to read 26 pages of this. Except all of us. ;)

So I will post a new "The Coffee Shop". Look for it...It should be there as you are reading now.....and post there.
