    Good Morning All!

Sheila: I think your post deserves a thread of it's own. I am going to copy and paste it in the General Baptist forum and also Watchman's reply.

It could start a debate, and we can't allow that in the coffee shop! [IMG]

Chilly here this morning and not going to get very warm, but the sun is supposed to shine.

    Hi Sheila! [IMG]

I have included the URL in your post 'here' so people can find the new thread 'there'.

I will reply in the new thread after I wake up a little. [IMG]

Did you sleep well? I had a very good night's sleep for a change! It's a good thing because I have a very busy day today.

Have to work 'the corner' this morning, put the Christmas decorations up so I can walk through the living room again, pick daughter and grands up from train station this morning (IF Amtrak is running on schedule), bring them back here, feed them lunch, see them off to Indiana, then to back to 'the corner' this afternoon and run a few errands after that...

Whew! I just made myself tired! [IMG]

Is everyone [IMG] in this morning?

I am off to 'the corner'. I will not be back online until after my family leaves for Indiana sometime this afternoon.

    Have a good day all!

I've got lots to do to get my decorations finished, laundry done and Nick's school work too. Not much time to chat this morning! Talk to you all much later!

Boy Howdy to the month of December and all my cyber-fambly here on the BB.

Way too busy to spend time here today, but keep the water on. May catch a break later this a.m. after running errands for the clinic.

Blackbird - get your cat declawed - tell your neighbor to get her cats fixed - solves a lot of problems.

Dr. Bob - don't have to take the cats out for walks, etc. every two to three hours - the litter box works just fine!

Dan - who is not arguing any points here - just stating facts!! [IMG]

Well now I've done it! Nick has been rushing me to finish decorating our tree and I let him put the glass balls on and forgot I usually put on the big fabric bows first! So.... extra work and not as easy to find happy little homes. Taking a break before I get upset.

If you let your cat spend too much time in the litter box does it become Sandy Claws?

    On a more serious note---

I had three members of my church who are military men! All three are shipping out this week---one for Iraq, one for Kuwait, and the other for the 38th Parallel in South Korea. The one shipping to Iraq---this will be his second tour there---he shipped out in the initial phase of the war---returned home just two months ago---he received a promotion in the Battalian he was in---with the promotion came a transfer to another unit--which was then called to active duty!!

I failed to get to speak to the other two---but did speak with the soldier shipping out again to Iraq---I gave him a big ole fat Cajun hug---told him we love him and are proud of him and will pray for him always!!!

    Hurry home to:
    John Goza--Iraq
    Steve Beasley--South Korea
    Dale Beasley--Kuwait

I am really tired of the cat-bashing going on today! They CAN be loving creatures God gave us as companions, just like dogs. They feel pain, have needs, and instinctively defend themselves. If you think that a cat, seeing a human's leg coming at them had no right to consider it a possible threat, making it OK to pick it up and hurl it out the door, then I wonder how you treat other living things God made under your care.

As to countless kittens, well, we know what causes that, and it's cured by a simple operation.

Ok. 'Nuff said. Thank you and have a nice day. [IMG]

Hi Debby, and thanks for rising to the defense of those adorable kittens! [IMG]

But you have to follow the thread from start to finish in order to understand the friendly debacle between some of the BB members. And, although you are new to the BB, you ought to realize by now that Dr. Bob is using both humor and sarcasm to bring the best out of his opponents on the board. And others follow suit. In other words, this is relatively harmless stuff, and you have to watch those emoticons..... at the end of each paragraph to get the gist of things. [IMG]

Uh Oh... It's too late! [IMG] I've already mailed packages of cat dander to Dr. Bob, Gib, Blackbird and J1999. Oh well, there's always Zyrtec! [IMG]

I despise most dogs after almost losing my leg to one but listen to the daily diatribe about those stinking, drooling, leg romancing creatures... LOL and say nary a word! LEAVE MY CAT ALONE! [IMG]

    Right there--as always!!!!!!

Just the name---Blackbird---is enough to cause every feline to get a "creak" in its neck--turning to get a chance to look and pounce!!! :D
