It's true. Even if the president is an incompetent boob, they still have to do the best they can.

That doesn't make it right, of course. If the president was even partially competent, we could have easily won the war, established a Saddam-free government, and gotten out.

Remember, Bush is a guy who's failed at every business he's ever run, unless he got a bail-out from daddy, the government, or one of his Islamic pals.

His major accomplishment was finding a campaign manager who could make him look electable. Which is no small feat, I'll admit.
