    Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
I beg you and urge all of you to FORGET casting and wasting a good vote on either McCain OR Obama <shudder>. There really isn't a dimes worth of difference in the basic politics or moral standards of either of these men or their cronies in the Republican or the Democratic parties no matter how the parties or the corrupt mainstream media attempts to portray them. They are ALL commited to globalist BIG GOVERNMENT that serves the interest of the spirit of anti-christ. True born again believers simply cannot vote for either of these two men with a pure conscience towards our Holy God. The only real option for Christians for righteousness and conscience sake will be the Constitution Party ticket for 2008 which is Chuck Baldwin/Darrell Castle. I won't try to say more in this post other than urge everyone who reads it to take the time to check the following links about the CP,their strong National Platform, and the Official website for the Baldwin campaign. I further urge all of you to be in much prayer for our nation as well as HOW each of you as individuals will vote in November. God Bless All of you. Check out the following links:

    Constitution Party Platform

I'll be voting for Chuck Baldwin most likely.

The Constitution Party is okay. The Libertarian Party is better, imo, as it is better known, has better ballot access, more candidates, etc.

    Relevant Information about Bob Barr

:type: Ken,Thanks for your response. The information I have seen indicates that the CP is making great gains in getting ballot access. The national website will give you that info in one keystroke. As to Bob Barr and the Libertarians...they get a bit "out there" on the issue of legalizing drugs and gay rights, etc. I want someone who stands more in-line with my Biblical values as well as a strong stand for the Constitution and the Republic. I would direct your attention to the following NewsWithViews.com article by columnist Mary Starrett in regards to the background of Bob Barr...it is worth reading and considering. The LINK follows:
Mary Starrett -- Bob Barr or Chuck Baldwin?

I have the same reservations about Bob Barr. He seems double minded to me too.

Now having said that...I believe we'll have another globalist in the oval office provided there isn't another "pretext" used to cancel the election. No constitutionalist or libertarian will be allowed to win the WH. The only way to make any change at all will be trough the local and state levels.

I pretty much view the national election as a giant rigged scam and a lost cause for Americans.

:tear: Sadly PONCHO I'm afraid you are largely correct...but...our God is Sovereign and He IS in control. I take great comfort in the truth that nothing is beyond His influence and control and He WILL take care of His people. We ultimately have NOTHING to fear if we are trusting in the Lord Jesus Christ ! Amen? However,it is both exciting and sad to be living in a time where we apparently have to observe the country of our (1st) birth come to what may quite possibly be a horrendous end......! I do love this country and am eternally thankful to God that He allowed me the grace and privilege to be born in and live out my life up to this point in relative peace, safety, and comfort. We have had and still do have MUCH to be grateful for. Most of all we should forever be thankful for what Christ has done for us...Amen,Amen and Amen !!!!!!

Folks....we HAVE to have some focused discussion about the third party candidates and their validity. This country WILL NOT survive business "as usual" in Washington much longer. We ARE adrift from the moorings of our Biblical foundations AND that marvelous(and I believe God-ordained) document known as the US Constitution. Let's keep this thread alive(and NOT because I started it..or any other). The two main parties are totally corrupt.

    Thanks,Greg Perry Sr. :type:

You're wasting your breath trying to tell Christians they're not righteous and have no conscience unless they support the CP and their candidates.

    Put a sock in it.

    You Are A Bit Rude

Carpro....you are a bit RUDE but you are entitled to your opinion and I'm thankful that we have a free country (at least for the moment)that allows us to express these opinions. If either the socialist(Obama) or the Republicrat(McCain) get elected (they are BOTH liberals) the days of these kinds of freedoms may well be numbered. At Least Dr.Baldwin and the CP stand for something a bit more in line with the Bible and the US Constitution. I have personally met and heard Dr.Baldwin preach when he was in Pickens,SC stumping for Dr.Ron Paul back during our state's Republican Primary. I have since read a many of his writings and keep track of his website. He is a good man(in Christ) and a decent human being(as far as that goes) and stands for the Constitution AS WRITTEN by the founders of our Republic (notice I did NOT say Democracy). He has my vote...and I recommend him to all I come in contact with. I also recommend that EVERYONE take a stand for whoever they think is best....and VOTE...otherwise DON"T COMPLAIN. I voted for Bush in the last two elections.......I regret what has happened since. I will no longer EVER vote all Republican or ANY straight party ticket. My days of complacently voting for anybody without knowing what they stand for(as much as possible) are OVER.

    God Help Us !!!!

    Perhaps.

I have little patience with those that try to tell Christians they're not righteous and have no conscience unless they vote as you want them too.

Your arrogance concerning the subject will earn you very few Christian cudos.

The "Christian" vote will be divided to the four winds this political season. Many will vote with the baby killers. Many will side with amnesty for illegal aliens. Many will decide to support those that will promise to end the war. Then many will get it correct and support the candidate that will promote judges that will adjudicate and not legislate from the bench. As a result, of our divisions, it means we'll have a Presidency that is pro-choice, pro-gay, pro-illegal alien, pro-surrender, anti-gun, internationalist, big govt and wanting to shackle every man, woman and child with the chains of global warming taxation.

This is what is coming for the next 4 years.

    amazing !

Wow.....that is a first for me...I've never been called (arrogant) before. I have been called dogmatic (which I'll admit too) but never arrogant.:tear:

Folks...I come on here on an open forum, express my opinion that my choice of candidate and political party is (at least) a good choice for born again Christians to consider and get accused of being arrogant. So be it. I will dogmatically stand by my belief that the CP and the Baldwin/Castle ticket for 2008 is the right choice for me....and this country. If I didn't believe that I won't support that. But I do and I will. I don't answer to God for anybody but ME.

I'm used to the idea that Christians (the truly saved ones)are in the minority and are marginalized by the world as being on the "lunatic fringe". The majority (democracy in action) is,more often than not,DEAD WRONG. I've said it before and I'll say it again. This country CANNOT afford to continue with "business as usual" in Washington. We won't survive much longer as a nation unless there is a MAJOR change that brings us BACK into adherence with the direction and intent of the Founding Fathers and strict compliance with the US Constitution and it's Biblical principles. You most certainly WON"T get that from guys like John McCain or Barack Obama.

    As Humble As Possible,

As long as you earn the description, you will continue to wear it.

Trying to tell Christians they're not righteous and have no conscience unless they vote as you want them to is arrogance, and a form of ignorance as well.

    Tying My Threads Together

CP....just to let YOU know...I now got you on ignore in this thread too. For everybody else's benefit.....I appreciate any other exchange of ideas either pro or con that anybody cares to make. The only wish I have is that if anyone (else) has any substantiative ideas either pro or con about the CP,Dr.Chuck Baldwin or any other worthy candidate I'd love to hear them as long as it doesn't degenerate into a mud-slinging match or an insult session. Our country is facing some serious challenges in the days to come and the absence of good people to take up the reins of leadership in our beloved USA is alarming and just plain downright scary. I personally support Dr.Baldwin because I believe he bases his life and political thinking on sound Biblical wisdom. Find me another candidate who you feel comfortable saying that about and I'll listen. For the record...I believe it will or would require a clear MIRACLE from God for Chuck to win. That said ,he has my vote ....and I can tell you without fear that the next President of the United States will be.......WHOMSOEVER GOD ALMIGHTY ORDAINS IT SHOULD BE.

    Of course you will.

If not one himself, he's at least sympathetic to "truthers" and other CTs.
