    Running for office is different than a judge. A Judge must apply the law. I am aware that in many areas, judges are elected, but that election process does not negate the edherence to law. (Judges aren't supposed to make decisions according to the will of the people). This is one of the reasons many are opposed to judicial elections, but that's a different topic.

    Serving as President, Governor, etc, would be a bit different. Must of the job entails administration, most of which is amoral. One's faith may come into play when it comes to signing or vetoing legislation, etc. As a Senator or congressman, otoh, the bulk of one's job involves legislation. One's faith can certainly affect legislation, and there's nothing innately wrong with that.

    Are you saying the law is amoral, that it is devoid of any Biblical sense of right and wrong, good and evil?
