Many on this board have a flawed definition of success. They call me a failure because I have not saved anyone nor disciples anyone when in fact I am just the one to plant the seeds and someone else will water it in discipleship. When I run into other evangelists and even Calvinist churches involved in street evangelism they all tell me not to listen to advice like what I get on this board. So there I am not listening!!!!!!

You never have listened. Good and Godly men and women on this Board have tried to help you but you have ignored that help and made false accusations against us.

Most of us have washed our hands of you. And rightly so. You are a vain and ignorant man who wallows in his own ignorance and refuses to hear sound instruction.

Not to split hairs, brother, but evangelism is the spread of the gospel through preaching or witnessing. If it isn't successfully spread then it isn't successful evangelism. That's the difference between success and faithfulness. Christians need to be faithful, not necessarily successful.

You obediently follow the call you believe God has placed in your life. You are a faithful evangelist. But the success (the actual spread of the gospel) is dependent on God.

So, are you saying that if nobody gets saved after 8 years of preaching, it is God's fault and not, possibly, the flaws in the methodology of the preacher?

Nope. I'm saying that we are called to be faithful, not necessarily successful.

Oh boy so every street evangelist in Denver and street evangelism church is also ignorant since they agree with me on this one.

This is the advice others on the streets have given me. Be faithful but it is God that draws the converts.

There may be flaws in the preacher but God can still draw a convert.

So nobody in Denver has seen a soul come to Christ in 8 years?

Why would God NOT honor someone's faithful service for 8 years in showing them ONE convert?

The street evangelists I know of probably not as Denver is a hard place to preach the gospel.

How many did Jeremiah have? How many did Noah have outside his family?

I'm surprised that not one person in all of downtown Denver is one of God's chosen. I'll bet there are churches there who are doing the sowing, watering AND reaping. The people are there - you just need to know how to get to them.

Hence the difference between considering faithful obedience successful in the life of a Christian and determining that Christian’s evangelism as successful. If the goal of evangelism is to spread the gospel, then evangelism that falls short of that goal is not successful evangelism. The evangelist, however, may very well be faithful. ;)

You keep saying that only God can draw someone to Him and then only will your evangelism be effective.

Here is the situation - IF hyper Calvinism is the truth - we dont know who God is calling.
We must go out and seek the lost

John 3:16 says - WHOSOEVER, MAY COME

    Mediated on this song:

    According to City-Data for Denver:

    Catholic:.....................26.6
    Evangelical Prot...........8.7
    Other............................6.8
    Mainline Protestant......6.3
    Black Prosteant............1.4
    Orhordox......................1.0

    NONE.........................49.2
