I love it there in Gods arms Jim! I am so glad he gives us Jesus! I am glad I do not have to be so wise to come to him...and that he takes me just as I am!

Thank you Jim for reminding me.

Jim, the Lord led you to share these thoughts today for a wonderful reason! I have a young friend who is struggling with the desire to do intense Bible Study to the point that her own pastor has approached her and accused her of not properly caring for her three small children. I think the thoughts you've shared might help her put this all in perspective.

    God bless!
    Diane

Thank you Jim. When my children were still at home, we had family devotions every evening. We would pray together and read the Bible together and then discuss what we had read. It always lead to personal discussions. It is amazing how different things leap out at different people depending on what they need at that particular time.

    Blessings,
    Sue

Excellent Jim: We could substitute the first two words with "our life".

"While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen; for the things which are seen are temporal, but the things which are not seen are eternal."
    2 Corinthians 4:18

    Blessings,
    Sue

Thank you Jim! This is the second devotional I have read this morning that made me sit up and take stock of my life. God works in mysterious ways...
