Contact your Representative and tell them to vote no for this anti-American, anti-military Communist legistlation.

    This came up during Congressman Kucinich's presidential campaign last year. There is already a federal agency like this. There is no need for another one.

    See www.usip.org .

    Huh? Peace and non-violent conflict resolution are un-American?

    I didn't realize that the communists were peaceful or non-violent....that's not what Mr. Reagan used to say.

    Most political movements have their "useful idiots", both in their own ranks and in the ranks of the opposition, don't you think?

    Nevertheless, you have not made a case for peace and non-violence being communistic or un-American -- or even bad. I grew up thinking "the American way" was justice, not violence. Perhaps I was mistaken.

    Get real, Daisy. Next thing you know, you'll be claiming that Jesus had good things to say about peacemakers.

    You don't live in a Muslim country either. If you did, I suspect you would not be their friends based on reading the VOM materials that I receive in the mail.

    True enough - nor do I really want to.

    No, you're wrong. They have Christian and Hindu friends. His family are nice people.

    </font>
I don't doubt that they are nice people, and I shouldn't have ascribed feelings or thoughts to them without knowing them. However, by reading about the treatment of Christians in Muslim countries, I have a slightly biased opinion.

    VOM = Voice of the Martyrs

    Yeah but, that was then Joseph. Now that the communists are all in the WTO and United Nations they refer to all of us as "useless eaters".

    Three cheers for our congress meatheads that keep voting to give the communists more power over us through "free trade" treaties. [IMG]

    Get real, Daisy. Next thing you know, you'll be claiming that Jesus had good things to say about peacemakers. </font>
You mean like Reagan and Bush...right? You know, the two presidents who have liberated more oppressed people around the world than any other president since FDR? Let's see here...how these three presidents (one democrat, two republicans) liberate all those people? By tolerating and understanding the Nazis? NO. I think it was through the use of force, violence, and confrontation of evil. Of course Jesus had good things to say about peacemakers like FDR, Reagan, and Bush. What you fail to realize is that the liberal pinheads who call themselves "peacemakers" have a very limited record in actually achieving peace. This is because they are moral relativists who are not willing to call evil evil and confront it. They want to understaaaaaaaaaand the terrorists and try to negotiate or look for help from an organization that was corrupt and being bought off by the evil regime that was Saddam. The so-called "peacemakers" are nothing more than feel good phonies who support evil and rail against those who confront evil.
