The Democratic National Committee (DNC) is asking people to submit ideas for an anti-Rush Limbaugh slogan it intends to put on a billboard in Rush's "backyard" -- his hometown of West Palm Beach, Fla.

The DNC pitch, which comes in the form of a fund-raising letter and e-mail, is being sent out across the country:..........

.........Media analysts say the media offensive against Limbaugh is the first salvo in an expected attempt to muzzle conservative talk radio through a new type of Fairness Doctrine that would regulate radio station ownership in terms of "diversity" and the "public interest."

Wow! it appears that since they will not be shutting talk radio down they are going after Rush another way. It certainly reveals their agenda with all the unfairness doctrine.

What concerns me about this is, if they cant just concentrate on running the government that they were elected to, what else do they want?

I dont think they are content with just having the WH for now, they want to totally destroy the Republican Party and install the democrats as the sole policy makers in this country.

The Fairness Doctrine is absolutely fascist in its mentality. I may not like most of talk radio but I'd be frightened to live in a world where Rush Limbaugh does not have freedom of speech. The laws of supply and demand and only the laws of supply and demand should dictate the terms of broadcast.

The absence of outrage from the (tolerant) left is deafening!

There must be a hitch in getting talking point from the DNC on this matter--!!???

If Rush is such a "third rate hack" then why do they fuss at all?George Bush had a lot more vocal opposition and he didn't whine about it.

Our current President needs to get on with the affairs of the state of our union. And speaking of that, a more civil civil war may be approaching. There are a growing number of states which do not want Washington's "help".

If the President and his spokesmen would get down to the business-at-hand they needn't be bothered by distractions.

But I do think Rush and his message cannot be ignored. His voice is that of a sizeable number of Americans. The President is going the wrong way rather fast.He and his liberal friends in the House,Senate, media, and Hollywood need to have a rude awakening.

The Democrats now have the White House, both houses of Congress, all the political momentum they could ask for, and what are they talking about? Rush Limbaugh. I just find that hilarious.
Btw, how in the world can the Dems find fault with anyone saying they want a president of the other party or ideology to fail? They didn't do everything in their power for 8 years to try to oppose everything George Bush tried to do? They didn't do the same thing under Reagan and Bush 1? And now Rush Limbaugh is worse than Hitler because he wants Obama's policies, which are going to damage the country greatly if they succeed, to fail? What an unbelieveable bunch of hypocrites.
