    Early biblical manuscripts were handwritten documents.
    Handwriting varies from person to person.
    Some handwriting is more legible than others.
    One cause of variation between manuscripts is the ability (or inability) of the transcriber to decipher the handwriting of his original document.

    There’s an interesting website from the National Archives regarding handwriting from the 1500 to 1800’s.

    Of course it’s all in English.
    Just imagine the difficulty attempting it in Greek!

    Try your hand at the DUNKING GAME.


    Then read the INTRODUCTION to learn something about deciphering hand written documents.

    Good question, Ed! But then why do we discuss some of the other things we discuss in the versions forum??? I would think basketbell would be a lot less controversial than some of the subjects that have been discussed here!
