Next month is the election we've all been waiting for.

In one sentence, who do you think will win and why do you think so?

Romney changed the field in one night.

I've been saying it since December: Romney will the nominee and will get beat in November.

That has been my position...however, I'm surprised by this last debate. The New Yorker cover pretty much sums it up for me. I think some things are changing. This is going to be very close.

I'll wait until the last debate, but I still see President Obama pulling it out...unless he get pulverized in the next two debates.

One other variable that is hanging around: this whole Libya situation where the Ambassador was killed. Lots more bad stuff for the President coming out on this one possibly.

If Romney wins the next 2 debates he will win.

That's about the most you can say in one sentence.

IMO Obama will win a narrow electoral college majority because Republicans have such a weak candidate with a liberal past.

There are too many brain-dead (as well as just-plain-dead) people who will vote Democratic even if (or perhaps, especially if) someone like Hitler were to run for president, so I have to concede that at this point it looks like Obama wins another four years to blame his ineffectiveness and lack of leadership on Bush, or Congress, or his golf caddy.

But I love surprises, even though I am not sure that Romney has the guts to call a spade a spade and cut where cutting needs to be cut.

President Obama will be re-elected in a somewhat close popular vote and slightly larger margin of the electoral college vote.

Our predictions are similar. What is not similar is who we are supporting. You might be surprised. NC might go for Romney, and I will guarantee you that Kentucky will.

Almost anyone else as the Republican nominee would have thrashed Obama. We nominated the first choice of the Democrats.

Obama will win unless unemployment numbers jump.

This is a serious question, since you seem to dislike Obama and Romney the same. Why do you think the country deserves Obama more than Romney?

You know, I really don't think the average American cares about that. It's sad. But most are not even looking at the national debt and how to pay it off, either. It seems they are just concerned about getting free healthcare, free EBT cards, free phones, and whatever else the Democrats promise. This is the base that Democrats have been quite successful in building up over the past decades and their plan for redistribution of wealth is working.

Strange, though, they never talk about when the wealth runs out and if and when there are no more food stmps or healthcare, etc.

Unfortunately, if there is an election (and I am still skeptical), obama will win just by those 47% who live off the system and the liberals that comprise the remaining 53% who are in the tank for obama, and those Christians who sit home and refuse to vote because Romney is a Mormon.

    Sayonara, America.

    Or in Chinese, "Zai jian."
