    Don't be suprised when Bush pardons Libby. I think the worst punishment is the negative public opinion against Libby.

    I confess I haven't followed this as closely as maybe I should have (pretty boring and drawn out for my limited attention span), but I also hope Libby is pardoned. I can't say why, really, but his punishment doesn't seem just.

    So, obstruction of justice and perjury aren't things to be punished?
    What happened to restoring honor and integrity to the White House?

    Don't forget: Valerie Plame was one of the "good guys" in this War on Terror.

    I think there are more people involved, and more that should be held accountable. Whoever was responsible for the information that was contained in the despicable Mr. Novak's column is, IMO, guilty of treason. Valerie Plame was one of the good guys in this War on Terror.

    Yeah but we never get any real investigations. Show trials and misdirections. The real criminals are still at large, looting America and demolishing the U.S. Constitution. That would make them "domestic enemies" we swore to protect and defend the U.S. Constitution from. Remember? That oath never said anythung about making excuses for em just because they pose as the POTUS and his administration.

    Sometimes doing the "right" thing, in this case righting a terrible miscarriage of justice, has some negative effects.

    BIR, do you think justice is being served in this case?

    Plame and her hubby are hard working subverters of GWB and our war on terror and are closer to traitors than being good guys.

    Nope - he was found guilty.

    For Libby, yes. But there needs to be more done before justice is served.

    Plame was one of the good guys in this War on Terror. That cannot be disputed. The traitor is the person who would out a CIA operative in hopes of getting at her husband. I cannot believe that you cannot see that.

    When is it okay to out a CIA operative?
