You've laughed, cried, or shouted in fury at your computer screen for the words of faceless individuals with whom you have conversed for a while by means of the Baptist Board. If you had a chance to meet some of the people here in person and chat one-on-one (like at Starbucks), who would it be (any why)? It could be with those with whom you bond or those with whom you clash.

Wow! Who would moderate and keep the peace?

No, really, it would be such a blessing to meet any and all I've encountered here! Dont know if any of us ever really change our mind but it has truly made me dig deeper into the word and to hold myself accountable for what I say, that even when hard to take, that it is scriptural!
Not sure I'd like to nail anyone over issues we've sorted out! I pray our Lord continues to use BB to cause us to dialogue without yelling!:tongue3:

Honestly, I would love to meet and chat with any and all whom I have conversed with here on the BB. Even Dr. Bob or Ed Edwards. (Man! those two!)
I have had the privilege to do just that for a week last year. I met with my brethren of the Kingdom Baptist church and their associates from around the world at a conference in Dallas/Fort Worth. What joy to put a face to names like El Guero. Lacy, James et al. were most gracious Christian brethren, as was their Pastor Joey Faust. What a joy to meet them. If such joy could be had while here in this fallen world, think of the joy we will all share when we meet Our Saviour!

I would like to meet all, and look forward to the Baptistboard section in Heaven... where we can look back and laugh at all our silly disagreements.

You remind me of a preacher I heard yesterday. He spoke of the resurrected Christ eating fish with his disciples. He said this means we will eat in our spiritual bodies. He figured he would keep some fried chicken ready to go since we don't know the day or the hour.

No one knows what the future holds but if meeting any of you are in my future be ready to talk scripture. I've had a renewed spirit since stumbling on this treasure of fellowship.

Ok, now I'm hungry, especailly with talk of Southern Foods.

I think it would be a great blessing to speak with any number of people on here. Actually I can't think of one with whom I wouldn't. An odd fact of me: Some people get excited about sports, cars, or whatever but I get excited and love to talk about God, and the Word - without end. Can you guess how many real good friends you have if this is your life. I can count them on one hand. This is the only place I can come to challenge me - and believe it or Not from many discussions I HAVE chanded some of my views based on clarification of scriptures. Nothing dramatic or substantial (just peripherial ideas) but what is important is that it is based on the Word of God because those here who hold fast the Word of Truth.

No one has it all straight, but we believe in the one who does and He will show us if we have yeilded hearts and a willing spirit.

I will put it like this: I call it the rail road walk toward God.

As believers we are all given Rails of Truth to carry with us and Nails of testimonies. When we meet each other we are to either to help give them some of the rails of truth we have to add to their track which they did not have before or Nails of testimonies that secure their Rails of Truth from moving and falling off. But the point isn't what you have but what you give that others may not only stay the course but grow and go further along toward a walk with God.

God bless you in the Name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus - Who IS the Christ the Son of the Living God!!! - AMEN!

I saw tinytim, El Guerro, BrotherBob, and Webdog, James Reed, 2BHO, and Scarlett O., but I said, "I want to see Jesus, you see, He's the One who died for me !".

I would be thrilled to meet most everyone here.

A teacher chat board I use to frequent had several get togethers each year. The one I could go to had none of my favorite posters going, but I went anyway. What a blast I had! Just like in real life, you never know who will be a friendl :tongue3:

BTW, I like your singing Bro. pinoy!
