    1. Peter. Sometimes I almost think I am him

    2. I thank God that He has not called my parents home as yet. If He does before He calls me home they will be first on list to catch up with again.

    3. Not a leader as such, but have a great mate here Down Under who can get into just about every type of ministry going, and excel at it. He preaches, sings, did a Kid's Club, you name it.

    4. If I don't meet friend from Brazil here, will be very high on my list to say g'day to there [IMG]

    5. Going just a little before my time now, would like to meet with Charles Wesley.

Jesus, my husband, and everyone else.
Everyone else, because we'll ALL be past fighting the flesh and it's sinful nature, the worldly temptations and struggling to do God's will in the midst of it.

Joyful praise, worship and singing will fill heaven and Praise God, I'll be joining in it. [IMG]

After the first bit of eternity that we'll spend lying on our faces in awe and worship before a holy and sovereign God, I suppose that I would like to meet the Apostles John, Peter, and Paul.

    1. Bible Hero: Micah
    2. Family: My wife's twin brother who passed away from MD before I had the opportunity to meet him.
    3. Baptist Leader: Jesse Reed (He was a pastor who was distantly related to my wife. He loved the Lord and loved everyone around him. He was always Godly, always humble, and always ready to get on his knees and pray for you. One day, my wife and I went to meet him and a bunch of his family and friends at their deer camp in the mountains to pick up some theology books he was giving away to those who were younger than him and we ended up on our knees praying for many different concerns for about a half an hour and then had a worship service right there full of singing and testimonies, and Bible Study. It was one of the greatest times of my life and I will never forget this Godly man).
    4. Special Friend: Although he is still alive, Retired Pastor Jim Copeland is a great friend and I look forward to seeing him in heaven one day for eternity.
    5. Ronald Reagan: I am not even sure if he was a Christian (I hope he was), but he was a great president and I hope I can meet him some day.

    JESUS!

Philip, the person in the Bible I was named after (really). John, the apostle (writer of my favorite gospel).

My mother (the best Christian I ever knew) and brother, died two weeks apart.

Baptist leader -- He's not dead, but if we never meet in person on earth; Dr. Bob, I want to see you!

Special friend -- (still family, but also closest childhood friend) My cousin who was my age and spent his entire life from infancy to adult in and out of hospitals from kidney disease. When he was dying he said: "Wow, I cannot believe God made heaven so BEAUTIFUL."

Why such a dichotomy between Jesus and the Father?

    1. Bible Hero - Adam, I know he messed up, but I think I would have done worse and I have always admired the "First" of any endeavor because they had to make their way without ANY examples to learn from.

    2. Family - My Dad and my Mom. They were terrific examples of Christian character. Not perfect mind you but they were the best people I have ever known.

    3. Baptist leader - Don't really have any heroes because I never know if what I have heard and read is the whole truth or just historical hype.

    4. Special Friend - Don't really have one who is there.

    5. Non Baptist - Francis Schaffer

Hmm...Barzillai. Caterer to King David. Think he'll be preparing the feast?

Anyway, my Bible hero is Deborah, my namesake. I like strong women. Also Jael, the one with the tent stake and the guts to do the job in Deborah's war.

Non-Baptists - Bach, Handel. I'd like to sing in their heavenly choir.

Family - my parents, and my maternal grandmother. Never met her, but she is the reason my mother was a Christian and therefore why I am. She had a hard life.
