The Three Lessons of Life

1. KJV Ephesians 6:1 Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right.

2. KJV Ecclesiastes 2:24 There is nothing better for a man,
than that he should eat and drink, and that he should make his soul
enjoy good in his labour. This also I saw, that it was from the hand of God.

3. KJV 2 Timothy 4:6-8
6 For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand.
7 I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:
8 Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord,
the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only,
but unto all them also that love his appearing.

 

Just as we lift up a cup and allow it to be filled with water,
or as the rain cometh from above to water the earth,
we must lift up an open heart and allow the Lord to fill it
from above with living water, God's words.

KJV Isaiah 55:9-11
9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.
10 For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven,
and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth
and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater:
11 So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth:
it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please,
and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.

KJV John 4:10 Jesus answered and said unto her,
If thou knewest the gift of God, and who it is that saith to thee,
Give me to drink; thou wouldest have asked of him,
and he would have given thee living water.
