I don't know that the president is a Christian in the truest the sense of the word, as being truly redeemed by the blood of Christ. Of course I don't KNOW that about anyone but me.

But I do see that there is much that is 'christian' in his behaviour and ideology as opposed to Buddhist, Muslim, pagan, or other 'religion.'

    Very interesting article.

Yes, Obama's theology is more kindred to the Social gospel which views of inspiration originated with German Rationalistic Theology. Fundementalism opposed those who attempted to infiltrate heretical Christianity rather than practice separation from such.

As far as Obama's person salvation. No Fruits for it and plenty against it. Anyone who orders the Pentegon to stop putting scriptures on its reports and is for killing full matured infants even after birth, and supports gay marriage has no evidence of the indwelling HOLY Spirit of God in him whatseover. He is A antichrist for sure.

I would not be so quick to judge. Remember oin the manner you judge others you will be judged by God. To my knowledge Jesus never spoke about abortion, but he spoke and taught much about how we are to treat others.

I would never presume to play god in judging others. You may do so at your own risk.

Yea I know you wouldn't because you are trying to pain a false picture of Obama. By their fruits you shall know them. I have not made the judgment. God has and has given it through his word. Obama has exposed himself by hos own words as well and the things he supports. Christians cannot support abortion or organizations that do them. It's just not possible.

How can you support political organizations that want to cut or eliminate funding for food and medical care for indigent children and the elderly.

Like I said, I would be very slow to judge others. Remember when you point your finger at another there are 4 pointing back at you.

I don't. In fact no one does. That is a false narrative used to excuse support for other things. And everyone who engages in it knows better.

And once again you ignore the word of God and its judgment on Obama.

This is not about playing God. We are commanded to judge righteous judgement and a simple understanding of God's Word demonstrates he lacks fruits of salvation (Mt. 7:15,20). God's word judges him and your only judgement is whether you side with or against God's Word concerning obvious manifest fruits that expose false professors.

He may not be saved. But in the grand scheme of things he does fall under that big umbrella of Christendom, rather than Islam (of which he has been falsely accused), or Buddhism, or Hinduism, or any of the other world religions. It is a social gospel that he believes in. He may be unsaved, but like the RCC, there are some basic tenets of Christianity that he does hold to.

I don't disagree with your assessment. I think the article referred to in the OP pretty well defines his religion. It is liberal black theology mixed with a little bit of everything.

So quick to judge. Dangerous thing to do Rev. And you are playing God.

Oh, and please don't proof text. A person can prove anything by proof texting.
You not know all his fruits. We not know all of yours. It is easy to point fingers.

You know, the only people Jesus really came down hard on were the Religious leaders who were so quick to judge others.

Judge this! You either stand WITH or AGAINST God's Word. The Word of God plainly says "you can know them by their fruits" (Mt. 7:15,20). The Word of God plainly says that a tree is known body its fruits. Anyone who believes that the "social gospel" is the gospel of Jesus Christ is simply blind as the gospel of Jesus Christ has nothing to do wit economics in our culture or soceity or righting cultural imbalances. Give to Ceasar what is Ceasars but don't confuse that with what is God's. The scriptures plainly spells out what the gospel is and what it is designed for - 1 Cor. 15:3-4.

    Please don't call me "Rev".

Does Obama "believe in" the ecumenical creeds?

I skimmed the essay and didn't notice any reference to the ecumenical creeds. From roughly 300AD through the lives of Luther and Calvin, Christianity was defined as belief in the ecumenical creeds. That is a good enough standard for me. I am not above Luther and Calvin.

So, you don't think abortion has anything to do with how we treat others?!
