    Actually I can only think of two Federal programs that paid off: The Interstate Highway System and the GI Bill!

    I like Ike. Ike was a great man although he had clay feet. He was a Christian. He spent his entire life in public service. He came from humble beginnings and was elected President in two landslides. He ended the FDR stranglehold on the USA.

    It is a shame that Democrats are still attacking him after all these years just because he refused to run as a Democrat. That proves the pettiness of the Democrats.

    Eisenhower actually LOWERED the tax rate from 92% to 91%.
