    Findley Edge says this in His book;
    At one time ,as I was growing up, I thought that the uniqueness of God's people was that they were"good". Then I came to find out that there were alot of "good" people in the world who made no claim to being God's people. I am convinced that God's people are supposed to be "good", but if good people are not necessarily God's people, then what is the difference between "good" people and God's people?
    I was struggling with the basic question.....
    1]What does it mean to be the people of God?

    I did not know the answer to this question- not with certainty and clarity.

    This is the basic problem with the modern church

    2] We do not know who we are or what we are supposed to be as the people of God!

    3] It is that we do not know what we are called to be as the people of God.

    As I considered this question, other questions came to mind.

    4] Why was God calling a people in the first place?

    5] What was he calling them to?

    6] What was he calling them for?
    [these were from page 31}

    How do you answer these questions? Have you thought this out to some extent?
