    I'm sure this has been discussed before... on this board and by every scholar in the world... but here goes :D

    Who do you think Melchizedek was? The pre-incarnate Christ? Just a man who was a "type" of Christ?

    The historical Melchizedek was a Canaanite priest king just like hundreds or thousands just like himself in his time period.

    The typical Melchizedek was Jesus Christ.
