Does Cruz want the death penalty for sodomy? No. Would he arrest them? No. Would he deny them any of their rights and privileges under the Constitution as American citizens? No.

But none of that matters. All that matters is the charged rhetoric. Trump has shown he can overcome this kind of thing. This will sink Cruz.
